Harmony Piano Studio ("HPS") was established in 2008 .

HPS specializes in piano music education and is one of the music schools registered under the Ministry of Education, Singapore. It taylors its piano lessons (group or individual) to cater to students of all ages. HPS aims to nurture students' interest in music, to ultimately train and develop young talent to become future pianists.

Courses offered by HPS include: 

Individual Piano Courses / Kids  Piano Group Courses (3 - 5 years old) / Gifted Young Pianist Course/ Adult Piano Courses  / Music Theory, Aural Exam Courses 

Courses are designed with careful consideration and strict adherence to professionalism. For 1-to-1 piano lessons, teachers adopt the "all-rounded approach", a teaching principle contrived by the founding principal, Ms. Yolanda Zou. Students are nurtured into well-rounded musicians with advanced piano playing techniques, exposure to music from different eras, and the ability to express different music forms to the fullest. 

The kids piano course for the young focuses on educating children. From a tender age of 3, students will be exposed to ear training, rhythm, note reading, and music performance skills. At the same time, HPS focuses on nurturing the performance ability of students through various forms of piano performance. For example, trainings for piano duets, piano four hands, piano eight hands, and vocal and instrumental accompaniment.

HPS employs professional music teachers who have graduated from the UK, China, US, Malaysia, and Singapore. HPS assigns its teachers to specialize in different types of courses based on their strengths and capabilities. This ensures that students are paired with the most suitable teacher, based on their needs.

HPS has been experiencing a growth in number of students since it was established in 2008. From 2014 to 2020, 100% of students at HPS has passed at the ABRSM piano exams, of which 75% of them did exceptionally well and was awarded with distinction. In recent years, students at HPS have also received numerous awards at international piano competitions held in Singapore. 

HPS holds annual piano concerts at the Esplanade and other theater. Through these concerts, students have the opportunity to showcase their talent and to expand their horizons. The concert experience also becomes a memorable part of their childhood as they grow up.

With professional teachers, coupled with efficient piano course structures that help to improve the performance capabilities of students, HPS has become a popular choice amongst parents, attracting students island wide.

HPS is proud to announce its new initiative in 2018 - the rental of brand new pianos, to help solve issues faced by many students and parents whilst learning piano.
